A MINLP model for combination pressurization optimization of shale gas gathering system

Abstract The combination pressurization of the shale gas gathering system is one most common methods in current engineering site, but it mostly set by manual experience or simulation analysis, and thus optimal scheme cannot be obtained. In order to optimize mode transportation system, a mixed integer nonlinear programming model (MINLP) established based on existing field. takes minimum total cost compressor unit as objective function. Various constraints are also taken into account, such pipe pressure, flowrate, related, well platform throttling, uniqueness for pressurization. Solving this optimization can figure out appropriate position, operating power, cost. An actual case block applied determine combined suitable production condition. results show that more meet requirements under different conditions. When both considered, optimized position concentrated, number compressors reduced two sets, 99.28 × 10 4 Yuan, which reflects advantages systems.
